Our factory was founded in the early 1990s and has almost 30 years of experience specialising in vacuum metalising, automated spray painting and lacquer spraying of small parts.

The factory is primarily focussed on closures, caps and lids throughout a range of industries such as cosmetics (perfumery, skincare, make-up), industrial, food/beverage/spirits, household and healthcare & pharmaceutical. However, with an in-house tool room and engineering skills, jigs and tooling can be created for any part and therefore the factory handles a wide range of products. This gives us scope, from custom tools for one off custom projects or prototypes to jigs for mass production.

During these years there have been many changes, including relocation to a new factory in Sandycroft, Deeside, where we are still located today. This facility is well equipped with a wide range of machinery and a tool room where new manufacturing tooling is worked on and repaired if required.

The location of our factory means it is well connected to the whole of the UK, with good transport links. Metamor is well placed to support with repatriating decoration work back to the UK and many of its customers are proving the carbon footprint and quality benefits of a UK manufacturer.

The factory was acquired by Metamor in 2022 but is still the same experienced metalliser & spray painter offering top service!

Like a caterpillar transforms into a butterfly, Metamor transforms products into something completely new and beautiful. 

We decided metamorphosis was a bit of a mouthful and from there Metamor was born... ‘Meta’ also links to one of our processes called metallising and ‘mor’ signifies that we do more than just metallising.
